3:30 am Me: what’s that strange noise? Brain taking time to process and then arm, feeling massive wetness, sounds the alarm. Dog has vomited all over the bed. She’s 70 lbs. Everywhere. That is all.

This is one reason why, after our last dog Echo (who had full access to the bed and frequently slept with my wife and me) died, when we finally got another dog we decided not to let him onto our bed.

My mom said Roxy wasn't gonna sleep on the bed. That lasted for about 3 years, when Roxy decided she liked sleeping on the bed with mom.

Bailey is now 11, and he never even tries to get on the bed. In fact, if we try to get him to jump on the bed, he looks very uncomfortable and won't do it. We trained him well, almost too well.
