For some reason, I'm watching the first two episodes of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century." It's on the NBC streaming app. It's cheesy, but still entertaining. It's peak late 1970s SF TV, even more so than "Battlestar Galactica."

Man, it's a flashback to my high school days in 1979. I used to love that show when I was in high school.

The bit where Buck Rogers visits the ruins of Chicago is particularly silly.

Truth be told, though, I had a massive crush on Erin Gray back in the day, 40 years ago. I was just a smitten high school boy.

Oh, bloody hell. The scene in the second episode where Buck Rogers teaches the 25th century hoi polloi to "get down and boogie" is painfully cheesy.

Yeah, the second season was nowhere near as good or fun as the first season.

I have the Topps card set for some reason. However, if you are searching for cheesy you need to check out "Shazam" circa 1974,

I loved Babylon 5 (still do), but the space CGI in the early shows was so bad that I remember cringing when I _first_ watched it.

Oh there is big Cheese but about the first half of the season is watchable, the second half is not to great.
