Okay, thanks! That clears up everything -- not!

What are you not getting? It does pretty much clear it up!

Well for starters, what if tossing the package broke it open? What if substance was in the air? What if officer breathed it in? So no, the absolute statement that 'fentanyl tossed from a car can't cause OD' is ludicrous on its face. Few absolutes in real world!

A lot of “what ifs” there, John. Not great for someone who claims to report facts

Again, all facts aren't available in breaking news. That's why we keep following up, pressing for more details and asking police questions about the fentanyl research. But we don't NOT report the breaking news in the first place. We just point out what we don't yet know.

Police shouldn't be your source of information on Fentanyl research.

They're not. Police are the source of what they say happened to their officer during the course of his official duties, and we accurately reported this, while noting the fentanyl research that mere touching may not be enough to trigger an OD. Your point?

They're not? Ok. Good. But which idiot tweeted from your account that they ask police questions about Fentanyl research?pic.twitter.com/WesCaIKO2D

That story hasn’t been retracted yet? We found the police brief. John made it all up.

You are bordering on defamation now. The facts of the news release are the same. I obtained more detail in my exclusive interview w/ police commissioner Saturday morning, allowing me to break the story, which has led to our site ever since. The editors fully back the story.

This isn't going to end well for you
