I forgot that Palin was only *nominated* for national office and was governor of Alaska for about half a term, but she was on the bandwagon. Not as much as Arpaio or Trump (to name two - one elected to local office but nationally prominent, and one soon running 1/2

...for public office but publicizing Birtherism with multiple Tweets), but I'm sure that others can come up with examples. Arpaio still counts because of the nation-wide reach of his mouth. And AFAIK the only reason he's not still rooting that horn is because he's damn *old*.
