Anything intended to cure treat prevent or mitigate a disease is a drug. FDA has jurisdiction over drugs. So treatment for autism falls under their jurisdiction. If it fails to meet safety/efficacy requirements (likely here) or is adulterated/misbranded (likely here) - FDA not ok

They made a warning in 2010, also. But in terms of enforcement actions? They don't have mandatory recall authority for drugs to my amazement. I wonder what they can do?
