Even more hilariously, he claims to have lived in Chicago for six years, and yet he's never seen pizza cut this way! Did he not eat pizza for six years? Or did he only eat Chicago-style deep dish?

I mean, he's not helping his case claiming he's not out of touch if he lived in Chicago for six years and never saw tavern style pizza before.

I lived in Chicago for three years ending about 20 years ago. I remember being confused the first time I ordered thin crust Pizza there and seeing how it was cut. I subsequently learned that nearly all thin crust pizza in Chicago is cut that way.

@dominos cuts their thin crust pies in squares. Oxymoron intended. -
I haven't ordered Dominos in a very long time; so they obviously changed the way they do things some time in the last decade or so.

The best pizzeria in my hometown in upstate NY used to cut its pizzas like this. It’s not really that weird. But, you know, literally everything we do needs to become an ideological issue nowadays.

This was how pizza king was cut in my hometown, in Mayor Pete’s home state of Indiana. It’s a popular chain throughout the state.

What a sad thing for him to try to argue. I’ve lived in the Midwest most of my life and pizza is like this at least 50% of the time. And when I lived in California, pizza also came like this routinely!

*Dominos* cuts their cracker thin crust pizza like this. Has for years and years.
