Rather arrogant dismissal, no? Since I like some of the others on the thread: I meant “survive in its current state” not survive as in exist at all. Of course anything can continue to survive/exist, but it could not function as well.

Anecdotes abound - we have a huge problem with rural hospitals closing, especially in the deep red states that did not expand Medicaid. My friend who just had a CABG in Ontario is quite happy
