Fit people are exhausting. I go to my gym and it says, “pain is weakness leaving the body” on the wall. And I just stare at it, annoyed, thinking of how it took 6 months for my shoulder to finally heal and I still can’t lift what I used to.

Omg. I had the same: a bad C5 on the right. I owe everything to the awesome PT that kept me from needing ESI or surgery. And survived it all without narcs! But I can appreciate why folks would want something. When it’s bad, it’s real bad.
