Misunderstanding in definition. When incel only meant involuntary celibate, this guy would be included. Once Incel became a group who feel they are owed by women as an ideology, it became misogynistic. Those who don't develop anger towards women over it are incels, not Incels.

Sure, because I'll let you in on a secret. There were a few times in my life before I met my wife when the "celibate for more than 6 months" definition applied to me. (I, too, was shy, and I worked 100+ hour weeks during residency before I met my wife during my lab years.)
