And you know what? While you have to finish your intern year and sit your step 3 boards to be able to independently prescribe amoxicillin, these idiots can prescribe coumadin, dig, and oxys the day after they graduate in Oregon.

It's worse than that. In some states (e.g., California), naturopaths can prescribe controlled substances. Basically, in the 17 or so states that license naturopaths, it's a hodgepodge of laws and regulation. https://www.naturopathic.org/files/NDScopeChart2012.pdf …

Washington too. I once cared for a young woman admitted for AKI requiring dialysis due to rifampin and 2 other antimicrobials prescribed by a naturopath to treat chronic Lyme. Scary.

Yeah, many naturopaths believe in the fake diagnosis of chronic Lyme disease and will treat it with long term antibiotics plus their own magic of "detoxification" and such.

I just can’t! Meanwhile I have a bachelor of science, a doctor of pharmacy, 2 years speciality pharmacy training at one of the best hospitals in the country and I can’t even adjust a god damn order independently in most states in the country!pic.twitter.com/7vZnndEKHW

Yeah. But do you know how to give an intravenous tumeric infusion to treat chronic Lyme, vaccine injury, and/or a retained jade egg in a hippie's vagina? Check and mate, nerd!pic.twitter.com/S7cWlcYnGV
