Thanks to the current President, millions & millions of American children are being taught everyday that it’s okay to be mean. It’s okay to lie. It’s okay to be a bully. And it’s okay to be cruel.

TBH, I used to bust Joe's balls harshly every time he criticized Trump, citing his previous statements supporting him, but I've come to the conclusion that there comes a time when that becomes counterproductive. He's turned on Trump more harshly than most former supporters.

I get it. I understand the frustration and wanting to rub Joe's face in some of his more obsequious Tweets from his days supporting Trump. I also understand that Joe is still a conservative who supports policies I now profoundly disagree with. I do get it.

However, there must come a point where we let former Trump supporters who've finally realized their mistake to admit it and try to make it right. If we never let them do that, it makes it far more difficult for others who might be thinking of renouncing Trump to actually do it.

I don't know if you remember, but I used to be pretty conservative. I never actually joined @GOP, but I pretty much always voted Republican from 1980 to 2003. My deconversion was a process that took a decade, beginning in the early 1990s.
