And yet another study shows that autism is primarily genetic. Too bad for antivaxers. https://www.chicagotribune.com/lifestyles/health/sc-hlth-autism-causes-0724-20190718-whuh53ujnncvpkhjpe77b6pahe-story.html …

This is a relatively weak study. I'm not disagreeing directly, but will point out that monozygotic twins have a 58% concordance. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5984825/?report=reader …

Too bad for all of us they aren't interested in science - you know, that thing where you make careful observations, employ objectivity, and evaluate the results, looking for ANY mistakes you have made along the way. Yeah... who would believe THAT shit? **shuffles off, weeping**

In France, Lyme doctors still "treat" autism as if it was an infection with antibiotics 😠... Thousands of kids have had such treatments. A study seems to be even ongoing based on this kind of hypothesis but I couldn't find any details anywherehttps://twitter.com/FondAutisme/status/1151468897964560384 …

worrisome that this (still pretty small) study is inspiring phony "autism genetic testing" clinics. This exploits people and will potentially kill. Regulators (and anyone reporting on this!) need to take note.
