Sadly I think the ABC in Australia that is now self-censoring and fearful of the right, pandering to it; possibly analogous to the BBC.

It's such a weirdly written article. It sort of makes this point halfway through, but then doesn't really understand the implication, and then shifts to no-platforming and back to far left movements from history.

Wow, are you off base here.

I dunno. There really isn’t an alt-left in the sense that there is an alt-right. If I’m wrong, please correct me, but the horseshoe theory really seems to me to show that what is considered alt-left, isn’t distinguishable from alt-right, and doesn’t exist as a left entity.

Wasn't it the 'right' itself inventing the word 'alt-right'?

We could have expected someone at ABC to know that, but that is just wishful thinking apparently. Some extremely dumb people here in the Netherlands try something new and call me a 'left wing fascist'. They also believe that Hitler was a socialist.

Where have you been since 2016? Bernie Sanders and his followers have been using Alt-left tactics since 2016! Wake up in the real world of politics!

Really?... Cos I've never heard or read about in then. And I have a pretty good memory. Nah, it's a pretty good effort to frame the 'left'.
