I don't even disagree that medical errors are a significant cause of mortality, but the representation of them as the third leading cause of death misses the realities of dying in the developed world. ~60% of us will die in a hospital under a high level of medical care.

Nor do I disagree that medical errors are a significant issue, but "third leading cause of mortality" is just innumerate bullshit based on global trigger tools that are oversensitive and unjustified extrapolation.
