The reason it seems many of us hammer the Far-Left more than the Far-Right is that we EXPECT White Supremacists et al. to act like violent thugs. Liberalism is suppose to be cerebral, making the case with good arguments, not angry fists. Conclusion: the Far-Left ≠ Liberalism.

Besides, what gets labeled the “far left” are really anarchists who aren’t known in society. The right and far right are everyday, disappointing people.
-
This. Anarchy POSING as Far-Left. Ideology is barely a factor.

I'm not much interested in this argument because I can't see what's riding on it. Suppose we do or do not prove equivalent levels of violence on both sides of the spectrum? What's that settle? Certainly not the relative validity of either end's political thought.
-
This, 100%. Can’t we just denounce violence, when it happens and by whomever?

You guys, antifa are thugs- not idealogues- and should be treated as common criminals. There may BE violence from the Far-Left: antifa is not Far-Left. Antifa are delinquents and BARELY political. Opportunistic
