What exactly are people proposing be done with the migrants in overcrowded facilities? Build nicer facilities? If so, that requires giving additional funds to “concentration camps.” Simply release them into the general population? What’s the underlying principle here?

MSNBC reported on that figure yesterday. 89% of asylum seekers released into the population turn up for their hearings. Only 11% do not.

Also important to note, that it's between 7:00 and 9%, depending on the country specifically in Central America, that are granted asylum. So of the 89% that turn up, a maximum of 9% have their claims validated and are given asylum.
