I don't know why but I'm watching "Soylent Green." One interesting thing about the movie, which was made in 1973. It features human-caused global warming due to the greenhouse effect. as part of the reason, in addition to massive overpopulation, for the horrible conditions shown.

I loved these films along with the 1968 Planet of the Apes film. He was so cynical and world-weary in them. I’ve read that Soylent Green utilized left over sets from an abandoned attempt at “Logan’s Run”, which was later resumed on a lower budget.
