As an aside, I've always had a soft spot for early 1970s dystopian science fiction with Charlton Heston, such as "Soylent Green" and "The Omega Man."

We actually had to watch it in an "experimental" social studies class in high school, then discuss. In said class, we also had to develop a new form of written language, where we didn't use vowels, and only had so many characters for each word.-cursor to today's texting? In 1975
