For instance, yes, cybersecurity measures could help blunt the amplification of antivax messages by bots and troll farms, but a lot of that is organic, from real people. Also, is anyone really going to use DDoS attacks against purveyors of medical misinformation? I'm confused.

I disagree. I think this is the real deal solution. It recognizes asymmetry, it’s being realistic about the threat. I love it.

Please explain to me how such tactics would work, then. (Maybe I'm just too stupid or ignorant to get it.) How would you operationalize such tactics in the real world? World you really use DDoS attacks against quacks?
