Happy to engage with her, but I’m also directly addressing you and Leo as you are promoting and appearing in the film. As someone who I’m sure gets a lot of offers to do this sort of thing, I hope you at least occasionally pass invitations off to women and BIPOC.

I had no role in this film other than agreeing to be interviewed, which I would do for any mainstream director. And by the way I always go out of my way to recommend female colleagues. I’m offended by your insinuation otherwise. It is presumptuous, false and offensive!

Happy to hear that, and I’d be happy to promote the work of the women and POC who you’ve recommended for roles that were originally offered to you the next time that happens. It would be a great thing for all of us to do that more often and it’s something I should also do more.
