It’s hard to know the deeper strategy he hopes to employ from the article. A reporters “drowning out” snipet makes for a nice soundbite but does come off sounding a bit simplistic. We should be mindful not to jump to a host of conclusions based on a single source document.

How it's operationalized is the key. Like most mission statements, this is vague. More worrisome, there's nothing about countering health misinformation, which made me question whether it's a core function of the organization. Core functions should be in the mission statement.
