Western medicine owns "pathogen based illness", and surgery. The rest of human disease has been a Western Medicine failure Now? They want market protection from placebos? With their big share of our household income, let them earn it with results that survive in a free market.

I Don't see any elements of racism in "wester medicine". In China, The term refers to medical system origined from the western hemisphere, That's all. Similar terms include western clothes 西裝,western cuisine 西餐,etc.. No implication of scienced-based or advanced etc.
