Yep. Medical school and residency train you to take care of patients. It's a complex skill set based on science, but it's not science. It's also not really about critical thinking outside the parameters of known medical science. I came to realize the difference when I entered my PhD program after medical school and two years of residency, although I also got it when I noticed that my medical school biochemistry close was less rigorous than the 1st year grad school class I took as an undergraduate.
