Chronic Lyme disease IS a fake disease. That doesn't mean the people who think they have it aren't having symptoms and suffering due to something. It's just not the tickborne bacteria that causes Lyme disease causing those symptoms. 1/ https://twitter.com/estarianne/status/1128763470634110976 …

You are a poor listener.

Here's an actual screenshot of the tweet. In it there is no mention of a man or a woman other than that quack Oz. Maybe the mistake is yours?pic.twitter.com/qhYid7naj4

Fake Lyme is a problem in Europe too. In 2014-15 I had "real" (neuro)Lyme disease (treated with 4 weeks of IV antibiotics). When I mention it now to a medical professional their eyes narrow and they ask "Who diagnosed that?". I give them the name of my neurologist and they relax,

I worry about the “boy who cried wolf” effect. So many people falsely claiming to have neuroborreliosis that it may delay diagnosis and treatment of a real infection.

My ex husband got Lyme disease from a deer tick - he suffered a lot. This happened after we divorced. Not everyone's physiology responds the exact same way. There are anomalies. You sound like a quack by diagnosing and dismissing "patients" that you have never examined.

Sorry to hear about your husband. Just like how toxins are real but detox products are scams,
#Lyme disease is real but “chronic Lyme” is a scam. Here are some red flags that help to differentiate:https://lymescience.org/red-flags-of-lyme-quackery/ …

I actually agree with you on something. I don’t believe your tweets have anything to do with misogyny either.
