Does anyone think I berate the quacks when discussing treatment options with a patient in the exam room? I rarely even use the word quackery when speaking one-on-one with patients. Usually I say things like "unproven" or "doesn't work"n as empathetically as I can. 2/

It irritates the hell out of me when critics attack me, suggesting that I shouldn't be forthright and blunt on social media because it's criticizing patients. 3/3
