Who ever advocated "outrage in the exam room" or against empathy for vaccine-hesitant parents? No one that I'm aware of. Certainly not me, Peter, or any other physician speaking out against the antivaccine movement and for vaccines.

Empathy isn't a bad way to go, but ultimately, the decision not to vaccinate your child is irrational and uninformed. We'd be a lot further along if the high profile proponents of anti-vaccination were more publicly censured and deplatformed.
