Insomnia sucks. It's also what I get for letting myself fall asleep on the couch at 8 PM and not waking up until @LateNightSeth's monologue. But is it really insomnia? I have, after all, had 4.5 hrs of sleep so far, just at the wrong time. I'll probably manage a couple more.

I feel for you. I worked nights from . . . 1984 to 2000 or thereabouts. Trying to live in both worlds is a pain. Coffee was my friend. Especially on days when I had to do banking or grocery shopping or get my hair cut.

If I need help sleeping, I listen to audio with the volume down to where some words drop out. Brains fill in the gaps and that helps to induce sleep. Beware not to listen to inflamitory content.
