It's annoying. Now I have to reset. I'll probably have to force myself to stay awake at least until 11 or midnight no matter how tired I am. In the meantime, what should I do now? I guess I can try to do some work on my grant and stay away from Twitter.

When I was in my teens I had horrible insomnia. An hour or two at most a night and sometimes I'd go 48 hours without sleep like it was nothing. It killed my academics in high school.

I'd heard about this before. Funny, but I was up from around 12:30-3:30 AM and then slept a couple of more hours before getting up for work. That's not quite what this article is describing but did end up being around six and a half hours of sleep total for the night.
