Agreed. I can almost forgive the noise if it’s a landscaping company—they probably over schedule their teams. But when neighbors use them, all I can think is “Use a rake!”

My son was so overwhelmed by / scared of leafblowers as a toddler. We couldn’t go outside if there was one anywhere nearby.

Today my neighbor had his leaf blower going for hours. Blowing leaves on my lawn and other neighbor's lawns and across the street. I like taking and putting some muscle in it and it's also good for the grass.

I've been trying different ASMR recordings to disguise the sounds of leaf blowers or power tools when I work at home. Now that the weather is finally warmer, home renovation season is ramping up.

Agree with you on the noise. We have a battery powered one that we have to use from time to time--it's not as bad.

And when the battery runs out, it’s quittin’ time.

I hate those things. The guy next door starts his up every Sunday and will go for at least an hour with it. Then his wife starts yelling to get his attention. "Colin. COLIN. COLLLL-IN... DON'T MISS UNDER THE TREE, COLLLL-IN!!!" Hubby calls him Colon.
