Actually, it does integrate, and that's great more damaging to medicine. For instance, when we waste effort and research dollars on the mysticism they is acupuncture, not only is that money that can't be used for useful research, but it erodes the scientific basis of medicine.

It is unfortunate when medical professionals disparage all forms of alternative medicine, especially in situations where they have nothing better to offer. I had acupuncture instead of rotator cuff surgery and have never regretted it.
