Actually, I wish that were totally true. Unfortunately, I've encountered a fair number of doctors over the years who reject evolution and other science that conflicts with their religions. 1/ Again, wording is contradictory. First it's 'a fact' that religion leads 'a lot' of people to reject science, then religious physicians are no different than others. This clearly implies that 'a lot' of religious physicians reject science.

Sure, but he didn’t specify in what context. “A lot” could refer to hundreds of people, but in comparison to a larger population it could be an insignificant proportion. Based on the context, it seems likely he’s referring to this, rather than ‘a lot’ in the proportional sense.

2/ Followed by 'most physicians don't let their religion interfere with their medicine'. Make up your mind. And, 'it's a fact' & 'a lot' are two phrases that just don't go together. I get your point is to degrade religious physicians w/o actually saying it. That makes you a bigot
