The tweet above yours says "cancer does reactivate a number of pathways used in embryonic and fetal development", i.e. cancer uses mechanisms that a fetus uses. It does not say that a fetus is like cancer. You're just trying to find a reason to be offended about basic biology.

No, my point is still valid: nobody has ever claimed that a fetus mimics cancer.

Well except for the main slide that prompted this entire discussion, and Dr. Gorski.pic.twitter.com/huv4eokzoR

I think you have a problem with reading. Nowhere on this slide does it say that a fetus mimics cancer. Nowhere.

It’s in the title of the slide and all the words below that.

No. Right now, I wonder if you're hallucinating, of if you're just stupidly trolling. The slide does not say that a fetus mimics cancer. David Gorski did not say that a fetus mimics cancer. You're stoking indignation about something *you* made up.

Similarities Parallels Mimics You’re having trouble with synonyms. I’m sorry I can’t help you with that.

Stop making things up that nobody has ever said. Similarities and mimicry are not the same thing. But thanks for confirming that you're a low-level troll.

Also, from a biological standpoint, if anything, cancer mimics pregnancy in the same way it mimics and hijacks other natural processes in the body, such as inflammation, angiogenesis (causing blood vessels to grow into it to feed the cancer), etc., not the other way around.

Exactly my point. The entire row was about saying pregnancy was parasitic, or like a cancer, when the vector was the opposite direction. That was the entire offense.
