I took out loans. I'm paying them back. But that was part of the plan when I signed on the dotted line... I don't understand who you think is supposed to pay my loans if it's not me.

Yep. Back in his day it was much more feasible to work your way through college with little or no debt. Although not completely impossible now, it's pretty damned close to impossible for most young adults.

I’d like to see stats regarding how large a percentage of student loans are from choosing an out of state college rather than saving money with an in-state college and living at home. Don’t think any optional choices that incur most of the costs should be taxpayer subsidized.

Back in the day when you could work a summer job and pay for college. If you have a good enough job to do that, keep the job and drop out of college.
