After all, if names don't matter, why do antivaxers get so worked up when they are called antivaccine? Why do they so strenuously insist that they are "not antivaccine" and try to portray themselves as vaccine safety advocates? It's because names matter.
I'm not cherry picking the science I believe. I hold it all to the same standard, and mindfulness research currently is not compelling. That might change one day, but as of now it's underwhelming. @stevennovella's analogy to acupuncture research was a good one.

Indeed, I"m going to be blunt here. (It's my nature.) I'm a bit insulted that you would insinuate that I hold a double standard with respect to scientific evidence. I'm not sure that there's anything further to be gained by my continuing here if that's what you think.
