      Also, there are forms of cognitive decline other than Alzheimer’s.

          There are also mental illnesses that lead to severe cognitive dissonance and distortions. I am a trained therapist. While I would never diagnose someone I’ve never met, there are conditions that could cause this behavior...which means the behaviors are not unobserved.

          I don’t know a lot about Dementia or Alzheimer’s. Our family has been fortunate in that it hasn’t impacted us. I do know about Tourettes, and I know that no two people with TS will be affected the same. I’m wondering, if Dementia and Alzheimer’s are the same?
