Well we know the MAGA types feel the same way about the 13-16th Amendments as they do about amending to eliminate the Electoral College, and I've actually heard of some arguing the 17th was a mistake. No word on how they feel about the 12th, which is the reason Hillary isn't VP.

I assume you mean the 13th-15th amendments, which makes it especially hilarious that you don't realize that it was Republicans that passed those. You should try learning some history before trying and spectacularly failing to talk smack.

Change is bad. Nothing must change. Everything must stay the same. That's why I buckle my shoes on tightly before walking out to go partridge hunting with my blunderbuss.

Imagine you thinking Americans care what the Brits think about our electoral system, while people are being locked up in your country for exercising free speech.

I don’t think they understand the constitution or what amendment actually means, or the fact that there are more than just the first and second. Hell, they tend to not even understand the first two when they use them. It’s more like a knee jerk reaction they have.

I love how you're such a coward that instead of replying to my tweet with your point like a normal person, you quote tweet me so that your mindless followers will pile on. It must suck being so intellectually limited and insecure that that is your best play.
-
It's especially funny considering I never tweeted at you in the first place. But you so badly need attention and approval that you quote tweeted me in a conversation that you weren't even a part of. Hey everyone, Mr. MD PhD is very insecure and needs some attention. Help him out

Their favourite part involves 3/5ths of a human . They are trying their darnedest to get back to that.

First of all, you don't even understand how that compromise came to pass. Secondly, what's most hilarious is that you don't realize that it was Democrats that insisted upon it.

I don’t have a problem with amending it, but I find the end around of having state legislation that requires electors vote for whomever wins the majority vote. We have to be careful when we blindly accept majority rule. That is why the framers put in checks and balances.pic.twitter.com/5DHyq37wHC

As there is no evidence that Jefferson ever said or wrote that (according to http://Monticello.org ), then it's equally likely that Lincoln said it. Or Einstein. Pick one.
