This is definitely an escalation of Holocaust analogies. In 2015, an antivaxer made a badge "inspired" by the yellow Star of David, but didn't use the yellow star itself. She was forced to take it off Facebook. Now a LEADER of the antivaccine movement is wearing the yellow Star. https://t.co/yIzwdq8u55

Lest you think
@delbigtree is just trolling here, he is not. Many antivaxers really believe that efforts to make personal belief exemptions to school vaccine mandates harder to get or to eliminate them altogether are akin to the Nazi persecution of Jews.2 replies 5 retweets 11 likesShow this thread -
Indeed,
@delbigtree has a history of inflammatory, apocalyptic rhetoric regarding vaccines and vaccine mandates. For instance, two years ago, he was in Michigan Michigan antivaxers to the Founding Fathers fighting for their freedom.https://respectfulinsolence.com/2016/10/28/nobody-promotes-antivaccine-nonsense-in-my-statewithout-receiving-some-insolence-2016-election-edition/ …1 reply 4 retweets 7 likesShow this thread
He even spoke about dying for the cause. Personally, I think @delbigtree is a blustering braggart, totally full of crap with his vows to fight and die for the antivaccine cause, but his rhetoric fires up his fellow antivaxers.
