The one thing that's most difficult to defend against if you're a doctor is the fake reviews antivaxers regularly post on doctor rating websites.

Never give up truth and never resort to their tactics.

Good reminder. Thank you. Somehow, rise above, hold on to compassion as the driving force. Hard to avoid getting sucked into the morass.

Why are antivaxxers & other zealots of pseudoscience so vile? Being able to personally attack doctors & parents who have lost a child to the flu lacks even a shred of human decency. How can their commitment to their cause override any sort of empathy or moral compass?
-
The cult of antivax often twists any attack on their claims as an attack on the parents that make the claims. So in their tiny little turnip brains they think antivax parents are being attacked every day

Gentle affirmation of those who are defending evidence and truth. Not conflating vaccine hesitancy with anti-vaxx zealotry, there should be healthy space to ask questions without us jumping on someone who is hesitant. Act like herd immunity.
-
At the same time though, too many antivaxxers are hiding being "I'm just asking questions" and we all allow it. If someone asserts, "vaccines are toxic because they contain aborted monkey DNA" that person is not hesitant and asking questions. They deserve no forum to speak
