On top of the Preventable Diseases Chart for now... but will Preventable Cervical Cancer get a comeback tomorrow at @Rigshospitalet?

This write up may be of interest to some on this thread; regarding Gøtzsche's Institute for Scientific Freedom... Seems to have attracted quite a few

Crikey! I've just listened to to Breggin and Pam Popper, two speakers at the Institute for Scientific Freedom inaugural meeting. It's the Paul Breggin Hour radio show? Discussing their trip to Denmark: https://drpeterbregginshow.podbean.com/#.XI6RPapNwoo.twitter …pic.twitter.com/5TtYemUu0C

Now Pam apparently gets all upset about people calling her names like "anti-vaxxer"... Well, I guess if she stopped claiming vaccines were causing autism, reciting all the AV tropes (vaccines didn't save us etc) that'd help? Genuinely, listen to the recording.

@gorskon ? Do you know Pam Popper? She presented at Gøtzsche's Institute for Scientific Freedom, and having just listened to her with Paul Breggin she sounds quite extreme...https://drpeterbregginshow.podbean.com/#.XI6RPapNwoo.twitter …3 replies 1 retweet 6 likes -

She's as antivaccine as any of the speakers at the
@picphysicians quackfest that@PGtzsche1 backed out of. For instance, read the section on immunizations here: https://www.healthscience.org/sites/default/files/documents/publications/feature/Interview_Winter_2017_Pam%20Popper.pdf …2 replies 4 retweets 9 likes -
Yes, Pam Popper lays down a veritable Greatest Hits of Antivaccine Tropes, including "natural immunity," a rant about the NCVIA and the Vaccine Court, claims that vaccines cause injury and side effects that doctors don't acknowledge, etc. She's obviously very antivaccine.

She's also an all around quack, judging from the article, complete with being into "natural hygiene," and a variety of "food as medicine" nonsense. For someone who butted heads with Cochrane over evidence,
@PGtzsche1 sure did let a quack into his kickoff conference!2 replies 2 retweets 9 likes -
Wow, get a load of this antivaccine (specifically anti-HPV) rant, full on antivax tropes. No wonder

Oh, wow, @PGtzsche1, look at this misinformation-packed defense of antivaccine guru Andrew Wakefield by Pam Popper! And yet you had her speak at the inaugural meeting of your new institute! What gives? https://community.babycenter.com/post/a26009809/some_perspective_on_wakefield_by_dr._pam_popper …
