Or, to put it another way, if what @AAPSonline doctors do is "thinking for yourself," I'll stay with the rest of the sheeple and practice science- and evidence-based medicine.

It's telling that their president is a private practice family doc, the *least* scientific of all the MD tracks. Most medical degreed quackery comes out of their ranks. It's much harder to ignore science as a specialist.

I wouldn't count on that Rand Paul (ophthalmologist) and Tom Price (orthopedic surgeon), AAPS members both, do a pretty good job of ignoring science.

She seems to want people to forget that "Back in the day" means when medicine was less scientific and they didn't have as great an array of tools for treatment and diagnosis. Also, people didn't live as long on average for some odd reason.
