So, given all that background, it isn't surprising that Dr. Orient falls into the "vaccine freedom" camp, in which antivaccine pseudoscience is disguised as "choice" or "freedom." 16/

This brings me back to a variation of my rule of thumb. The use of words like "choice," "freedom," "consent" (especially "informed consent") by someone opposing school vaccine mandates is a red flag for antivaccine views. It fits Dr. Orient. 17/17
