Yep. We've had such bills to make measles great again introduced in the Michigan legislature over the last couple of years 1/https://twitter.com/CaulfieldTim/status/1103440918764376064 …

For instance, one bill would have eliminated the health department's authority to require that parents undergo a mandatory education session before they could get a personal belief exemption from school vaccine mandates. 2/https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/make-measles-great-again-a-case-study-of-the-politicization-of-school-vaccine-requirements-in-michigan/ …

This same bill would have made it much more difficult, if not impossible, to keep unvaccinated children out of school in the event of an outbreak of vaccine-preventable disease. 3/

Then there was this other bill that would have intentionally tried to frighten parents out of vaccinating through requiring that parents be told that "fetal cells" are used to make vaccines and fetal DNA is in them. 4/https://respectfulinsolence.com/2018/06/12/senate-bill-1055-antivaccine-fear-mongering/ …

Despite all the outbreaks, antivaxers aren't giving up on their efforts to make measles great again. 5/5

WTf??!! Pediatricians already spend lots of uncompensated time discussing vaccines - now one more thing, and an idiotic idea?!! Glad we have @DrPanMD in CA to prevent this lunacy! #tweetiatricians

Are you aware some pediatricians get substantial bonuses for having a certain amount of patients fully vaccinated? So, I'm sure they don't mind pushing them. They just don't want people to learn what is really in them.
