Smallpox vaccine too dangerous to use now because disease gone. Measles virtually gone in US--need vigilance, but risk still very low. Let people decide based on current circumstances and honest info about vaccine, which NOW kills more people than measles.

Virtually gone in the US =/= Gone There were 110,000 measles deaths in 2017.

Am a supporter of the AAPS but don’t agree with this anti vaccine opinion. The rest of their views are all about saving the doctor patient relationship which has almost been killed by government, insurance companies and big healthcare systems. We fight for the sake of patients

They also deny anthropogenic climate change. They are very anti-science.

They're also all in with
#MAGA, publishing articles in their "journal" blaming immigrants for bringing disease and crime into the US.2 replies 0 retweets 3 likes -

What’s wrong with
#MAGA after the harm that the government has done to healthcare? The ACA made healthcare more expensive & less accessible. That’s a fact. Intermediaries influencing healthcare only made it worse. Doctors & patients could turn things around.#DirectPatientCare1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Okay, fine. Let's drop ACA and go to single payer like the rest of the civilized world.

The pedant in me can't help but point out that the vast majority of countries with universal health insurance aren't single payer. Most universal health insurance looks more like the ACA but with a public option, sliding scale cost for insurance, and free insurance for the poor.

We are proposing a Direct Primary Care based system with truly affordable catastrophic coverage. Traditional Medicare and indigent Medicaid would not change except could offer high quality
#DirectPrimaryCare as an option. Is universal healthcare not just universal coverage.0 replies 0 retweets 1 likeThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
