I would not know. In my experience most so-called "antivax" are people, who are concerned about the lack of proper placebo-controlled trials - but who might be forced into a corner by people bluntly refusing such concern. Refusing to talk at a conference could aggravate this.

The vaccine hesitant don't attend conferences. They read things on the internet that sap their confidence in public health measures.
