In part, it may be that most people are pro vaccine, but it’s not an obsession, not a single defining issue. They understand it’s the right thing, and don’t see a need to fight anymore than they go out to fight for seatbelts or for not starving your child.

Exactly, and when it comes to press coverage, how newsworthy a lead would it be to start a story profiling the typical/majority parent who gets their kid vaccinated?

Fortunately we have science and hard evidence on our side. Oh wait, facts mean nothing in our current political and socioeconomic climate.

Facts have never been the most important factor in public debate. Anecdotes make initial changes in thoughts, and then facts can help reinforce the message. Check out

Are they trying to kill their kids or the rest of us? Are we sure this isn’t like the GRU face book group started to get weak-minded people to gather to fight in public places?

The way the anti-vax zealots swarm on social media is disturbing. Little pediatric practices post something pro-vaccine and they get a bunch of negative comments and reviews. All it takes is a few to hijack a comment section. And I recently saw this: https://www.facebook.com/staceysagerABC7/photos/a.1422507758004636/2128575914064480/?type=3&theater …
