Jumping from vaccines to politics is far beyond me. But good try. (What is KKK?)

The Ku Klux Klan; I would assume most people would have heard of it? Perhaps the references to white supremacy might be a clue?

Don't patronize me please I have never heard it referred to by its abbreviation. And clan is spelled with a C. Well far away from the vaccines issue, don't you reckon?

You know? The only thing I would skip would be the "clan spelled with c" thing. Everything else Lalanda said is reasonable and quite understandable. Jumping to conclusions before seeing something is a childish act. And the worst part is that twitter is full of people ready to...

Do you think it’s reasonable for someone who is not antivaccine ro agree to be part - apparently, a keynote - in an antivaccine event? With a title that is likely to appeal to an antivaccine audience?

People who cared for Dr. Gotzche’s reputation night consider warning him that it’s not a good idea. And no, it’s not reasonable to try and defend such a choice. It’s a mistake.

First of all, you can claim that vaccines are good in an anti-vaccines event, what was your mistake is that Dr. Gotzche hasn't talked about the issue and you are already claiming that he is gonna be against vaccines without any clue more than, that place is anti-vaccines...

He is participating in a clearly antivaccine event, with a title the organizers are bound to like. Do you think lending his name to an antivaccine event is appropriate?

As long as your words are not anti-vaccine, I see it quite reasonable. After all, if he defends vaccines, no matter where it is, or what the organizers think, I'm ok with it. The actions are what must be prosecuted, not the fact that someone suspects of an action.

That's exactly what he's doing, and his followers are lapping it up. I've seen this before. It's arrogance. He believes his motives are so pure that he can't possibly ever be perceived as antivaccine, even as he gives aid and comfort to antivaxers.

He believes he's a giant, one of the greatest scientists of our time. Because his buddies like Ioannidis tell him (and us) that he is. But since Ioannidis misrepresents Gøtzsche's position re the HPV vaccine, I don't trust his judgement:https://mobile.twitter.com/Rosewind2007/status/1071148537331761159 …
