I was just wondering if anyone had specific numbers. I know adverse events if vaccines aren't well documented but estimates?

Apologies if I am stating the obvious, but I think that CDC should have some links available. http://nih.gov or similar (US-centric)

Sometimes I think people forget what happens when people contract things like polio or the flu. Look at Mary Berry from the Great British Bake Off, polio impacted the use of her left hand. Permanently. She had a mild case in comparison to some. Influenza is a deadly virus.

I remember the terror of mumps. We forget the terror because vaccines are so highly effective. Instead of 100’s of 1000’s of people dying from things like the Spanish Flu, with vaccines those numbers drop to a handful of people.

This type of discussion always reminds me of "I don't wear a seatbelt because I won't be able to unbuckle myself if a car catches fire, or falls into a lake and I need to get out quickly"

TL;DR: "People suck at risk assessment"
