1. Not a cheap gotcha IMHO. It's my go to question when I hear a politician of any stripe talking about 'helping families', 'protecting the middle class', yadda, yadda, yadda. How much is a loaf of bread? A jug of milk? A movie ticket? A transit pass?

Yes, maybe, but I, for example, don't know the price of Cheerios now because I don't usually buy them. The difference, though, is that I could guess a ballpark figure based on previous shopping experience.

Not for nothing but I’m pretty damn far from a billionaire, I have no idea what Cheerios cost. When did grocery shopping become the gold standard to be a “man of the people”? I really hate the theatrics of these pointless questions.

More to the point... they shouldn't ask him about price of milk... they should ask him for details on how, as he is opposed to single payer/Medicare for all... what, specifically is his solution? What would he do to the system to make it accessible and get costs in control?
