I don't deny you're correct statistically, yet there were people, albeit not as many, living past 100 back then. We can knock out pneumonia, UTIs etc. and prolong the life of the elderly, but I'm not sure we've done much to offset the aging process itself

Dr. Gorski your graph shows this. Notice the increase of the bottom # vs. the top. I'm not trying to be right or argumentative, it's just a topic that fascinates me, particularly when I consider that many of those early centenarians got little, if any childhood medical care.
