The idea that technology solves problems is a nonfalsifiable dogma for people like this. Reality is far more complex, tech creates as many problems as it solves and this is a solution in search of a problem. There is no need for constant telemetry on 99.99% of people.

Yep. Many years ago I had to do a 30-day Holter monitor because I had symptoms (a near-syncopal episode and truly racing sinus tach >160). It found all sorts of odd things, but none of it causative and none of it that needed to be treated.
